Who says she is just a sophomore member of Congress?
During the health care press conference — carried live on national cable networks — U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter followed only House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer.
Hoyer introduced her this way:
“Here to talk about seniors being advantaged by the passage of this bill is my good friend, a member of the Education and Labor Committee, deeply involved in the fashioning of this bill, the gentlelady from New Hampshire Carol Shea-Porter.”
